Stamp Carving - Drop-In Workshop with Kathy Wade

This fun, hands-on beginner class will teach you how to easily create your own hand-carved stamps!

✨ CLASS DETAILS
• Price: $10 drop in fee will get you 1 mini stamp to carve & hands-on instruction OR reserve a basic kit which includes carving tool, carving block, and a mini ink pad for $20. Choose your selection at checkout! **NOTE** Additional supplies will be available for purchase!
• When: Saturday, September 13, anytime from 5–9 pm. 
• Ages: All ages welcome, but we will be using sharp carving tools, so younger kids will need to be accompanied by an adult.

🎨 ARTIST BIO

Kathy Wade is a longtime Ogden resident and a lifelong artist with a curiosity and love for all things art. She works in a range of styles and mediums - from detailed florals to bold, funky abstracts - using mainly pen, acrylics, and printmaking. For over 20 years, she's shared her creativity with kids through teaching.

In 2020, she began sketching instead of scrolling on her phone during life's waiting moments, filling mini sketchbooks with floral pen drawings that inspire her paintings and hand-carved stamps.

Kathy sees art as one of her greatest blessings and is deeply grateful to God for the gift of creativity. You'll often find her hiking local trails, dancing in the kitchen with her kids while her husband DJs, eating salad for breakfast, and dreaming up her next creation.
